New Loan Fund for Entrepreneurs

Thinking about starting, restarting, or restructuring a business in Elbert County?  New financing options were announced this month by the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT).  The Colorado Startup Loan Fund has been established to help small businesses grow.

Loans under $150,000 with favorable terms and rates are available for entrepreneurs across Colorado.  The focus of the fund will be for underserved business owners who may not be able to get a loan from traditional institutions.  The lenders selected for this program have experience working with rural communities.

A business must have less than 25 full time employees and no more than $2M in gross annual revenues to qualify among other criteria.  Interested parties should contact Candace Payne at the Prairie Development Corporation (PDC) at 719-348-5562 or visit https://oedit.colorado.gov/colorado-startup-loan-fund
